    The Wrong Way with Hurt…
    1. Pretend it doesn’t exist.
    2. Run from it.
    3. Hide it.
    4. Worry about it.
    5. Resent it.

    The Right Way with Hurt…
    1. Let God handle the situation.
    2. Let Jesus heal me.
    3. Let Jesus meet my needs.

    Facts about our valleys:
    1. Valleys happen.
    2. Valleys surprise.
    3. Valleys don’t discriminate.
    4. Valleys don’t last.
    5. Valleys have purpose.
     
    What should we do in the Valleys?
    A. Refuse panic and discouragement.
    B. Believe God is present.
    C. Lean into His protection and direction.

    3. Allow God to remove and resolve my grudges.

    3. How to get the control issue right – I begin to pray about everything.
    4. How to do this well for the long haul – Take it one day at a time.

    Insight #1 – Many people wander thru life expecting everything will turn out all right
    Insight #2 – Regret in our lives often happens because of lack of judgment
    Path Principle – The direction, not intentions of our lives determine the destination
    Insight #3 – Many people have no specific destination for their lives. Therefore, they end up at places of regret
    Where am I going?
    Insight #4 – God gives us wisdom and direction

    At The Table
    Mission – God’s Church is to help all people be transformed by Jesus
    Vision – A Church for Our Neighbors
    1.  Messy, distracted, and “written off” lives are welcome at Jesus’ Table.  (Luke 5:27-31)
    2.  Humble acts of kindness to neighbors who can offer nothing in return are rewarded at Jesus’ Table.  (Luke 14:7-14)
    3.  The Table of Jesus is graciously open to all who want a seat.  (Luke 14:15-24)
