Check-In Center Information

Your child’s safety is important to us at Eastland!  

We ask that every child be checked in at our Check In Center by a parent or guardian prior to service. You can follow the signs to the center.

At the time of check in one of our hosts will collect vital contact and allergy information and give you a tag for check out. Your child will receive a name tag. Your tag will need to be presented at check out.

When you collect your child or baby after the service our host will scan your tag, get your child from the appropriate room along with any items you sent with them and bring them to you.  

We limit access to the secured child areas. If your child needs you during service, one of our hosts will let you know via text message and escort you to the area.

What to Expect

Nursery (birth – 2) After your baby/toddler is checked in they are cared for by loving workers during 11am service. They listen to Bible songs, play with safe toys and get a snack (if permitted). When you bring your child to the nursery, we encourage you to bring the following labeled items in your diaper bag:

  • 3-4 diapers
  • pre-mixed bottles
  • pacifier
  • complete change of clothes

Preschool (ages 3-5) After your child is checked in they have a special room set up just for them! They will play games, make crafts, and have age-appropriate learning opportunities that fit their unique needs. Kids (1st – 5th grade) When they arrive we have a staging room for them to visit until around 10:55am.  Then we, as a group, join in the adult worship time in the Sanctuary. We stay for a few songs, then head down to the KidMin area for our own learning experience.  This time is filled with activity!  We play large group games, make crafts, discuss faith topics, and enjoy learning together!

Sunday Classes
While the adults enjoy Community Groups, the kids are engaged in classes that are specially designed to meet the specific spiritual needs of their ages. 
  • Nursery – birth -2 years
  • Preschool – 2-3 years
  • Early Elementary – 4 years – K
  • Middle Elementary- 1st -3rd grades
  • Upper Elementary – 4th-5th grades
