Eastland Worship Choir:

The Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening from 7:00PM to 8:15PM. The choir is considered as a vital part of the worship experience at Eastland and enjoys not only leading the worship at Sunday services but also taking the message of Christ out in to the community throughout the year. This includes concerts and some seasonal and non-seasonal full dramatic productions. A typical choir season would run August through May to provide two months off for family and other ministry opportunities. This year we have increased membership in the choir. There has been an exciting interest with our youth in High School starting to get involved full time.

Praise Band:

This group uses a variety of musical styles and instrumentation to prompt worship in our Sunday services. With a list of singers, drummers, keyboardists, Guitarists, etc… band members are rotated through a schedule to allow as much time as possible to serve in this busy yet exciting ministry. Vocalists have a required commitment to the Worship Choir unless schedule does not allow it due to another ministry service.

Standard instruments on the platform include but not limited to:

Keyboards: 7’ Kawai Grand Piano, Kurzweil PC-88, Korg T2, Hammond C3 Organ with a multi speed Leslie cabinet.

Drums: Yamaha Stage Custom 5 piece Kit with an array of Sabian B8Pro Cymbals;
Percussion: LP Congas and Bongos, Timbale’s, Djembe, and a variety of Latin percussion.

Guitars and Bass: are provided by each player but there is a Peavey Bass amp and a Fender Dual Showman Reverb guitar amp.

Technical Ministries:

Serving in Audio, Video, lighting, staging, and computer ministries. The tech team is responsible for setting-up and operating the equipment for each worship service, rehearsals and special events. The positions rotate through a schedule and we encourage cross training for those who would like to be involved in various areas.

Lighting Console Lighting equipment most commonly used at Eastland incorporates a variety of PAR-64’s, PAR-56’s, Ellipsoidal’s, and Followspots. We use Lightronics dimmer’s and a SUNN console.
Yamaha M7CL Audio Equipment in the Eastland Worship Center starts with the 6 TX-8 Cabinets in the front end. This provides smooth even coverage from the 12) 15,” 6) 8” speakers, 6) 2” Compression horns, and 8) 18” Sub Speakers. This stereo array is powered by Crown Amplifiers and controlled by a Yamaha M7CL 48 Channel Digital Mixer.
Videonics MXPro DV Video equipment used in the Eastland Worship Center starts with the Videonics MXPro DV Switcher. 6) 13” color video monitors assist the operator or director to choose appropriate camera shots, video rolls, or computer generated information to the program. Most worship services incorporate two remote control camera’s and a Canon XL-2 in a center house location. The XL-2 is the primary field camera used for special projects. Video from the Sunday services and special events are broadcast through Channel 3 at our Liberty Ridge Assisted Living apartments.
Dual Computer Station

Computer and Projection equipment used in the Eastland Worship Center starts with a computer using dual monitors which helps facilitate a pre and program view of all software generated information projected to the two 10’ Screens over the stage and information sent to the video switcher. Eastland primarily uses MediaShout software and occasionally PowerPoint software when needed.
