Welcome to Eastland’s Sports Ministry. Our desire is to use sports to build relationships and share God’s love with people in our community. Whether in a youth basketball league, an adult softball league, or just in our open gym – take some time to look at our many opportunities to do just that.

Basketball
Fall Basketball Season:
This is for guys 16 and older and is designed to be a league that provides a place of community based on Christian principles of attitude, sportsmanship, and competition.
To register:
The 2010 Registration Form that is included in this Adobe PDF file (Click to download) must be received in the church office by Monday, August 16th. However, your team spot is only guaranteed if you are one of the first 16 teams to get your money and forms turned into the church. You may pick up forms in the church lobby at the Welcome Center or online at www.eastland.org. Please make your team check in the amount of ($350.00) payable to Eastland Church.
Games:
Teams will play one time each week - either Monday or Thursday night. We are hoping to have 16 teams playing during our fall season. On Monday nights the games will be played at 6, 7, 8, and 9PM. On Thursday nights the games will be played at 6, 7, 8, and 9PM. The one exception to this schedule will be the week of September 6th. Games that week will be played on Monday and Tuesday night instead of Monday and Thursday night.

Softball
Fall League
The Fall season will begin the week of August 23rd. The league consists of a 7 game season (weather permitting). The schedule for the Eastland team will be posted online by Friday, August 20th. Cost to participate is $25. Those interested can sign up and pay online.
Morehead Tournament
This one day tournament will take place on Saturday, August 21st. At least 16 teams will take part in a round-robin format, which would guarantee each team 4-5 games. Cost to participate in the tournament is $20/player. Participants can sign up with the form bellow or at the Welcome Center.
Co-Ed Whiffle Ball League
Our co-ed whiffle ball league season is scheduled to begin the week of July 12. Registration for individuals and teams will begin on May 28. The league will be limited to 6 teams this season, so sign up early!

Eastland Church has wonderful facilities for all kinds of athletic activities. Whether you want to participate in one of many leagues, find a place for your youth team to practice, or just have some open gym time – we have everything that you need.
