Not a FanNot A Fan
Becoming A Completely Committed Follower of Jesus

The dictionary defines a fan as “an enthusiastic admirer.” Fans want to be close enough to Jesus to get all the benefits, but not so close that it requires sacrifice. Fans may be fine with repeating a prayer, attending church on the weekend, and slapping a Jesus fish on their bumpers. But is that really the extent of the relationship Jesus wants? Jesus was never interested in having admirers. Itʼs not fans he is looking for.
9:30 - Dave Sperow & Leslie Hughes - Room E20/22

Believing In God But Living As If He Doesnʼt Exist

Are you a Christian Atheist? Do you believe in God but live as if he doesnʼt exist? Believing in Christ enough to benefit from him is at best shallow Christianity. At worst, itʼs empty, deceptive religion, leading many down the broad path to eternal devastation. This class will take an honest look at the contrast between how we live and what we claim to believe.
9:30 - Brian Dennis & Lisa Fields - Room E16/18

Connecting with a Life Group

Options for people who were part of Life Groups last fall. Please mark on the back of your Sunday morning Communication Card or email pastor Jeff the option that you are wanting to choose for Life Groups.

1. Stay with your group from last year.

2. Ask to join another existing Life Group. This catalog lists all the Life Groups that are scheduled to re-launch on September 18. The catalog will indicate whether these groups are open or closed. Open Life Groups can potentially add new people to their group.

3. Take part in the launch of a new Life Group.

New to Life Groups? You can ask your friends if they are in a Life Group. If they are in a group already - check to see if there is room for you to join the group.
